I learned from a friend that you can "earn" channel points on Twitch.
Now I'm wondering HOW you can earn it and WHERE you can see it?
It would be nice if someone could explain it to me because the official guide from Twitch is not very understandable.
Channel points "Earn" by actively watching:
Earn Twitch Channel Points:
Spectators without a sub get 10 points every 5 minutes
Viewers with sub get 20 points every 5 minutes
Every 15 minutes viewers without a sub get 30 points (gift)
Every 15 minutes viewers with sub get 60 points (gift)
Take part in a raid and get 250 points
Become a follower and get 300 points
If you don't miss a stream, you will receive extra points, but if you miss a stream, you will count again from the beginning. However, the streams must be at least 10 minutes long and there must be at least 30 minutes between the two streams. If a stream only fails for a short time and the streamer goes live again immediately, this does not count as 2 streams. With a subscription you get more channel points 1.2x.
Watch 2 streams in a row, get 350 points extra
Watch 3 streams in a row, get 450 points extra
Watch 4 streams in a row, get 650 points extra
Watch 5 or more streams in a row, get 750 points extra
You can see these points on the mobile phone when you want to write something on the left (you have to be in the stream) this is such a small circle but note that not every streamer has channel points active.
Many Thanks.
