I do not know exactly how to start this… For 9 months I have been "working" on the goals I have set (YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, Twitter…) on each of these platforms I have built something (no, me I'm not a big and well-known streamer / YouTuber etc.), which I'm very proud of because it took a lot of time. I have set goals, I have achieved a few and some are a bit bigger. Now to the question, even if everything is going well and I enjoy it, I often wonder whether this is "normal" with such a young age. Almost everyone I know my age is at a party all the time doing this and that. And me? I sit in front of the PC and "work" XD. It's good or bad, I don't know somehow. (The question is actually unnecessary, but wanted to get rid of it.)
Just do what you enjoy and what you think makes the most sense 😁
So I think that's very good, there's nothing wrong with working hard on your goals, because that's the only way you can achieve them.
Starting today with YouTube is even like impossible. You should have been there from the start. Do a lesson there have more of it
All dreams of success as an influencer are nothing more than dreams of life as a pop star or supermodel in my generation. So very, very unrealistic and usually not through hard work, hard work and effort, but rather through very fortunate luck.
Accordingly, I would definitely advise you to use your youth to celebrate, have fun, enjoy life with other people your age. And when it comes to the goals for your future, your school leaving certificate should be at the top, possibly followed by the search for one or the other part-time job or internship, in order to get to know occupations and to be able to name first, small previous experiences on your CV.
Of course, you can continue to do all the social media stuff as a hobby. And if you should be one of the few with the enormous luck, then you just make more of it. But in the much more likely case that this doesn't happen, you have a good degree, the prospects of a good education and, above all, an exciting, fun, fun-filled youth!
I personally find it sad that your life only takes place online and your goals are followers and likes. Real life passes you by. Sad
School etc. Is not a problem, do it as a hobby. I'm not someone who has to drink alcohol to have fun.
How do you know now what I'm doing privately… I'm just not someone who has to get drunk to have fun lul.
It has nothing to do with getting drunk, but you take pictures and post them everywhere. What for? So that they stay on the net forever? For me, these portals like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram are unfortunately a waste of time.
Of course it's a matter of opinion… Everyone has a different opinion. But to think that I had no life and only "live" for likes, I find something well. Critical. I do everything on the side and make sure that I "used" my youth enough at the end of the day.
Then have fun and don't let anyone spoil that. It's ok, it's today's generation.
Have you tried it or why so sure?
You don't have to. But as I said - do not consider this hobby as pursuing a professional goal, but really only as a hobby. And if you have the feeling that this hobby costs you too much time and you therefore neglect social contacts, then change something.
