GTA V - Roleplay?

I'm interested in Roleplay in GTA 5. Have seen a lot on YouTube or Twitch, but do not quite understand how it all comes together.

Can I even get on a Roleplay server with my PS4? What do I have to consider?

Moin, you can't play a roleplay with a PS4. Since you need a PC to mods / plugins / scripts, for example, alone to load the food display.
