I started streaming yesterday and used a bit rate of 2500.
(Was 720p 60fps) On various pages you need 1080p 60fps at least a bit rate of 6000, I just tried it with a 3500 bit rate and my stream had a quality of 1080p 60 fps?
I use Streamlabs OBS (could you recommend a bit rate?)
The recommendation is already 6 Mbit / s. Does anything speak against it?
You can also set less, then you save bandwidth, but have poorer quality. Or more, then you need more bandwidth, but have a higher quality. At some point, the higher rate just doesn't really pay off. The perceived quality increases disproportionately.
