Descriptive settings for Twitch streams?

Since my upload rate of about 2.2 Mbit / s is not really high and I would like to stream a bit, the settings for the stream should be low, but still descriptive. The resolution would be 720p and the frame rate would be 30fps.

But what about the bit rate?
What exactly determines this and what advice should I have at least so that it doesn't look too bad, but is still manageable?

Bit rate is 2.2. Take 2000 at most
