After a few weeks of inactivity, I played GTA Online on the PC again. Shortly before I ended up in an online lobby, I received a message that I had received GTA $ 1,550,000. I don't remember the exact wording, but I assume that it has to do with Twitch Prime, since I've accepted some bonuses since playing there last time. It said that the money had been deposited into my Maze Bank account. However, my account is still empty, just under $ 400,000, which I had before.
Hence my question: is this a bug, do I just have to be patient or should I have done anything else to get the money?

You can wait for something or it is in your cash account and you have to pay it. But surely you would have noticed who it is.
