My question is whether I should install a high-performance graphics card in my streaming PC or whether a GTX 770, for example, is sufficient?
I plan to stream a ps4 / ps5 to my pc with a capture card and go live on twitch.
As a CPU I have the ryzen 5 2600, with recommendations for a graphics card that is not so expensive, I gladly accept.
Normally you render via the CPU, it doesn't need a lot of GPU power:-)
As long as no games should run on the PC itself, any graphic card (with CPU encoding) is sufficient
So a GTX 770 -1050 ti would be ok to display the picture / video of the Ps4 / ps5 with caputre card on the PC and then to stream it to 720-900p?
I would say yes… As I said, it depends on the settings in the OBS and how it is rendered:-)
I have the ryzen 5 2600 as the CPU
You should upgrade to a Ryzen 7. Would be better.
And yes. A GTX 770 is completely sufficient.
The endcoding is done via the CPU, the GPU is only there to display a picture & to display a few animations. I have e.g. Only a GTX 750 in there's enough.
