Which graphics card is comparable to the XSX?
For a few days now I've been wondering which graphics card you could compare the graphics unit of the world's new most powerful console, the Xbox Series X, with.
With the Playstation 5 it is already known which graphics unit is installed, or with which one can compare it.
A revised and somewhat stripped-down RX5700XT is built into it (the Playstation 5).
In terms of computing power (teraflop / s), the Playstation 5 is worse than the actual desktop graphics unit. (9.2 teraflop / s (Ps5) vs. 9.98 teraflop / s (RX5700XT).
But now to my question again, the Xbox Series X can't really be compared to a single graphics unit. It is a lot stronger than the RX5700XT, the RTX2080Super, but it is weaker than a custom RTX2080ti.
With which desktop graphics card can you compare the graphics quality of the Xbox Series X? Is it maybe a new RX6ooo GPU?
None. You can't compare an entire console to just one graphics card. There are still CPU, RAM etc. In it. And it would be difficult to compare even with a complete PC. The PS5 (like the next-gen XBoxes) uses the RDNA2 architecture used in the RX6000 cards, so there's by no means a modified 5700XT installed.
In addition, the TFlops specified for the PS5 are only the minimum output, the actual one is significantly higher. You apparently have no idea how Smart Shift technology works.
In general, a comparison with desktop graphics cards makes the most sense if the TFlops are the same and the architecture does not differ too much. A comparison with a 2080 Super is certainly not much wrong.

It has been proven that it is a RX5700XT, only based on RDNA 2.0.
Just because it's based on RDNA 2.0 doesn't mean it has to be an RX6ooo card. Mainly for the reason that there were already rumors that the RX5ooo GPUs will be refreshed again, but with the RDNA 2.0 architecture.
