Ex partner dispute over gifts?

So my ex partner and I broke up a few days ago. Now he recalls everything he gave me, mainly a computer and a monitor. He has the sales receipts and firmly claims that things belong to him and that he never gave them to me. But I don't want to give out the PC because my old one is broken and I can only stream on Twitch because of the new PC. I also believe that a gift is a gift, repetition is stolen. What is the legal situation here? We're not married. And what do I do if he stands in front of my door with the police and demands things back or if I get a letter from the lawyer?

Well you have to give it back to him if he has proof of purchase that he has paid for it. Anyone can come and say, that was given to me.

jo

Well if you can prove that he gave it to you, things are yours. But when he says something like "we lived together and she was allowed to use it" it becomes very difficult

he

Hm I have a voice recording, of which he unfortunately knows nothing, in which he says I could keep it.

jo

Mhhh I don't know if this is allowed. But even then you have to prove that he means exactly the computer and screen… But I'm not sure about that either

Il

If he has receipts you will unfortunately have bad cards

he

So you'd be advised to just put things out and get rid of him in compensation. I know he would break the things if it broke them directly because he has no use of them, since he has his own pc and he doesn't see these things for sale.

The joke is: when we were at the media markt I bought a switch, paid in cash and we added e to his media markt card for any discounts or gifts from media markt. Ie the bill of it is there too. The card runs solely on his name. And he wants the switch now, even though it's actually really mine.

jo

If he really has the supporting documents, then unfortunately yes.

Since it is his things, he can unfortunately also break them ☹️

jo

Well not always… But often ^^

jo

Yes and if not, just call 110. Hopefully that should be the end of it

jo

Asoo very important… Having receipts is not enough… Were the items (PC, monitor and switch) paid for in cash or by card? When in cash, he doesn't get things that easily

Pc and screen with map, switch in bar… I just give him everything back except the switch…

Now honestly who can really prove that something ekn gift was just in peaceful times in relation…

I read a lot by the way and his behavior is extremely similar to that of a narcissist when it comes to separation.

Either you offer to buy it when you need it. Only with sales contract.

Otherwise he can request his things back because he has the same documents. He also has the right to report theft. Did the same thing with a TV.

How would you like that? M? Se SeederMassive
