Twitch is an oversized platform, where countless new users have come at these times and the chance of being discovered at all is really negligible. Does it even make sense to start streaming for fun and at least be able to build a small community over time?
And that without having to present yourself half-naked?
In terms of topics, I would be more of a mix of 'just chatting' (talking to the community about everything) and gaming.
Especially with the first one, spectators are also needed, to talk to oneself would be… Strange. ^^ '
I tend more to just use it for fun and not want to make it a job or make it big. That probably won't work anyway, so I'm not setting myself any utopian goals either.
This is the online world. Everything is possible, nothing is neccesary. I think if you go there with the goal of getting to know someone and then want to enjoy real live, Twitch is more the 50 50 chance. The streamer usually remains a streamer. Take it how it comes.
I have a partner, that's not my goal. I don't want to transfer the contacts into real life either. It's just about entertaining others and exchanging ideas. I miss that at the moment Simply, because of Corona, I no longer come into contact with many people.
Of course you can do that and women streaming there's not uncommon.

Yes, if you enjoy it, it makes sense.

Depending on what you want to do. First start with gaming, then there will be people you can chat with.
Do you even get noticed if this is not uncommon? When I see women on Twitch it's either supermodels or they jump their bust size straight into their face… I'm neither one nor I want to implement the other, that's not mine: 'D
In any case, I would try more like it can't work out anyway.

I can understand that in the middle of the year I moved to another state relatively shortly after the lockdown. At work I tend to find fewer people and I'm not someone who goes out to party or sits in cafes or parks.
That's why I use Discord a lot.
It doesn't have to be - there are many who stream normally. ^^
Dultuslein is right
With Discord e.g. I also tried it in online games, but could never really overcome myself because the people in the groups always already knew each other and I was always the new one… I just thought that was stupid. If people on Twitch are interested in my personality or in the relevant topics and therefore follow me, I personally find it easier to get started. And people usually don't know each other either ^^ '
Right - that's true and I feel the same way.
Especially that you are the new person - that's why, apart from my two home servers in English, I don't have a real server on which I feel comfortable.
If you want, I can help you set up a discord server.
That would be really nice of you! But first I need a cam and still have to take care of the design a little.
Hey XD
Thank you for the answer and for your offer.
To be honest, I don't know how my personality is received, as I've never done anything like this and I'm also rather shy… But I would like to try it out. ^^ '
I've already ordered the cam… I just have to see which game I'm going to play for the first time. ^^ '
What about the regularity of the stream? Is 2 times a week enough? I'm currently During my apprenticeship, i.e. Also at work and only two days a week, I have a little more free time. Since I always have to get up at 4 a.m., streaming tends to drop out in the late evening hours ^^ '
I sent you a friend request here.
I think that's enough twice a week - it is more important that you are really involved. The audience will then show how it will be.
I also wanted to stream at some point - unfortunately my internet doesn't work at the moment.
I saw that I'll go into that later. Thank you!
I hope so…
What would you want to stream thematically if you could?
