I would estimate that you get around 800-1200 points per hour. Depending on whether you are connected to Prime, you get a small multiplier
Spectators without a sub get 10 points every 5 minutes
Viewers with sub get 20 points every 5 minutes
Every 15 minutes viewers without a sub get 30 points (gift)
Every 15 minutes viewers with sub get 60 points (gift)
Take part in a raid and get 250 points
Become a follower and get 300 points
Watch 2 streams in a row, get 350 points extra
Watch 3 streams in a row, get 450 points extra
Watch 4 streams in a row, get 650 points extra
Watch 5 or more streams in a row, get 750 points extra
All of this affects what you get. Especially the various sub-multipliers and how regularly you collect the bonus gifts.
Completely wrong. Twitch writes it down itself. You get up to 220 channel points per hour… 440 if you have a Tier 3 subscription.

I just doubt that the above values are correct. A sub doesn't double the number of channel points for a long time.
You get 20% more for Tier 1; 50% for Tier 2; 100% for Tier 3.

It doubled it once, but is unfortunately no longer the case.
So every now and then it pops up and you collect it for 50 points and with a normal tier 1 subscription that's 60 points.
