Only the Xbox Elite Series V2 controller is recommended. The V2 model solved all the problems that the V1 model had.

I myself play games with the Xbox Elite Series V2 controller on my Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S or on my computer.

Buying the V1 actually makes almost no sense at all. The extra charge is worth it and with the V2 you get the best controller that is currently on the market.

Yes, 70 euro is quite good for the V1. But it has a lot of quirks.
