Are there big differences between Xbox one vs Elite Controller?

But I do not know exactly what to buy with one, an Xbox one controller is actually good but what is better, is elite than normal, the difference is actually very large? Advantage is the higher weight and higher quality feeling, replaceable sticks (with 3 lengths), exchangeable D-pad (once normal cross, once disc), also paddles on the back (assignable to all other buttons) and rubber grips.

But the Elite controller has a problem that many have: The rubber grips dissolve in many after one to two years of use. So my brains were exchanged for scuf-grips when the problem arose.

My grip on my first Elite Controller solved after six months, the second after three months. Both of them also had problems with the shoulder buttons. It really is a super controller if it is not broken. And unfortunately that happens very often.

Personally I have no problems with the shoulder buttons, only the brains have come off after about 1 1/2 years. Here I have but, as I said, this simply replaced by Scuf-Grips.

The support was unfortunately less Kulant, because only one year warranty. In itself an impudence to save on such an expensive premium controller because…
