XBOX ONE Wireless Controller Is Not Detected by Windows?

I've had an XBOX ONE wireless controller for Windows for a while and it always worked blindingly. Now my Windows 7 has recently been updated (which is funny because I thought the support would have been set for Win7 as well as for XP and Vista.) Well anyway, my controller does not work anymore. He is no longer recognized in any game. On other devices he still works but my PC does not recognize him somehow.

Can it be that the driver is broken / faulty? Have him reinstalled but nothing. When the Microsoft support (which is very bad and uninformed) I was advised by the first employee to uninstall the controller with the driver in Device Manager and restart the PC, as this would then reinstall. Did not help.

The second employee advised me to write two commands in the CMD console, the first of which did not work. The employee did not try to fix the new problem, but asked me which controller type it was. I responded with 1708 and he did not know what to do and sent me to XBOX support. There, however, only consoles and WIN10 problems are treated. Meanwhile, the controller is not even displayed in the Device Manager, or not as Xbox Controller but as a USB input device.

Now I'm starting to get frustrated because I can't find any help and the complete Microsoft support on WIN10 is designed. Does anyone know where the problem could be / how to fix it?

Presumably under Windows 7 the controller can only be connected via USB cable or Bluetooth is not supported. In addition, the statements of the Microsoft employee are quite correct. I also advise you to uninstall the device in the device manager. Then remove the controller from the USB port. Then shut down the PC completely. After a successful restart, reconnect the controller to a USB port. Windows should now automatically detect the controller and automatically try reinstalling. This will be signaled acoustically and displayed in the notification area of the taskbar; this can take some time.

If the USB interface does not respond, try another one.

No, he worked with bluetooth. But since the update he is no longer recognized by programs. I had already done it all. But now he is no longer recognized by the Device Manager. At least not as a controller. And it does not work over USB either. I have already reinstalled the driver 3 times, but it does not help. The 360 usb controller is still working. The one goes with other devices. So the error must be with WIndows.
