Xbox one controller wireless?

I have an XBOX ONE controller for the PC (Win10) with an adapter to play wirelessly. Now I would like to buy a second controller as a replacement or to be able to play in split screen. Now my question. Can I use an Xbox one controller that is only sold with a cable?

Can I then connect it to the wireless adapter so that both are connected wirelessly?

Or do I have to buy a wireless controller?

I know that you can connect up to 8 controllers via the adapter. It is simply a question of whether the controller that is connected to the cable is also wireless capable because the cable is not permanently on there.

If it is a wireless controller, it will also work without the cable.

Gl

That has now not answered the question

Ri

Then please formulate it again so that I can specifically answer it. If the question is whether you can use multiple controllers on the PC, then the answer would be "yes".

Gl

You question is.

There's the wireless controller and I call it the normal one for PC, i.e. The one with a cable. Is he who only has the cable wireless or not?

Ri

No, the fixed cable to me is not wireless.
