Can you use the Xbox One controller in the PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops 2?

The controller is already connected to the PC and every game with controller support runs perfectly with the controller. Black Ops 2 was just released for Xbox 360 back then. And I want to know if I can play Black Ops 2 with an Xbox one controller or if I have to buy an Xbox 360 controller.
