I bought the Xbox One a few months ago as a bundle with the game "Forza Horizon 4". Only I did not know that you need a game pass where you have to pay each month to play the game since I've never had anything to do with Xbox or similar consoles. Now to my question.
Can I continue to play the game by buying it at the nearest store and reinstalling it? I also do not care about playing online, just to test and design cars. I really only bought the Xbox because of the game.
You can buy the game in the store and play it normally. But I would deinstal the old one from the gamepass and reinstall it from the cd.
Basically, that's how it works. Does not even have to be reinstalled.
But if you bought it as a bundle, you do not need the GamePass for it. There must have been a download code for you to have the game permanently.
The code I entered at the beginning… And now, when I start the game, comes the message that I have to extend my Game Pass
What was written on the slip of code? Even only GamePass?
It would have been extra code just for the game here. The bundle is there for that.
Were possibly 2 codes here. Or did you get one by email? If it really was an FH4 bundle, then a code for the full version must have been included. One month of XBox Live or Game Pass are usually included as standard on a new XBox. You could also contact the Xbox Support.
If you buy a new disc you do not need to reinstall it. Digital version and disc version are identical. If you uninstall the game and put the disc in it must also be reinstalled and in addition follows then also a download.
