Best racing game for Xbox One (without story mode)?

I'm looking for a "simple" racing game for Xbox One…

What does simple mean? A game in which two people drive on the screen for victory… Without completing any missions. Just race and have fun. This can also be a racing game in which you can shoot or destroy others.

I loved playing blur and split / second on Xbox 360. We currently have Crash Nitro for the Xbox One, which is fun, but a simple racing simulation would also be nice.

What can you recommend?

I've already played Horizon 2 and 3 … This is complete with story mode and I'm not looking for something like that. Forza Motorsport doesn't have that, right?

No there's no story but not really at Horizon either.

I mean what's bothering you when a speaker announces the next unlocked event. You can drive whatever you want.
