Xbox360 cd scratched what can you do?

My xbox 360 cd is scratched and doesn't work, sometimes it works but it is always random whether it works or not. Now my question. How can I clean it so that it always works without having to buy a new one or having it grinded at gamestop.

I often read the toothpaste, but what is the point?

Try to burn the CD / DVD on an unused blank with https://www.giga.de/...kostenlos/ or possibly polish the entire CD with very fine polishing paste (toothpaste would be a good approach)
