Scratched code scratched what to do?

I bought a 15 and 25 euro Nintendo e Shop scratch card but accidentally scratched the code on both cards.

What should I do now?

Is that even possible? Normally, the codes are under a film that is supposed to protect against this. What did you rub with a chainsaw?

And how can this happen to you twice?

Go

No with a coin, that's how I've always done it.

Sk

Is annoying, you have to buy a new one

If the code is completely scratched away nothing. If parts of the code are still to be read, support can help you.

That happened to me too. I wrote about 10-15 minutes with a member of the support team until he then told me the rest of my code.

Back then, it was a Netflix gift card and not a Nintendo e-shop card. Then you are probably at the mercy of the company.

Ma

You can report it to PlayStation Support. But do not know if it is the same with Nintendo. It's best to contact support.

Okay funny, I don't know now how the scratch cards from Nintendo are structured, but that sounds like an absolutely wrong design… In that case I would recommend (if it is about the switch) to load the money in another way. In the meantime, this can also be done directly via PayPal or credit card.

I don't know if that is possible.

Can you really no longer read it? I would say send a picture in here, but that's probably not a good idea.

There's a QR code for Nintendo Support in the Nintendo Switch settings.

Try flashlighting

Ma

Then contact support as written and keep the card!

You can read a little bit of the code.

That doesn't bring much, because it is rubbed off under the letters.
