Elite Series 2 controller on PC?

I want to connect my Xbox Elite series 2 controller to my PC.

I have an MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge Wi-Fi motherboard that has Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi.

Now my question is.

Should I connect the controller via Bluetooth or rather via the Xbox Wirless Dongle? (I would have to buy it separately)?

I think the stick also runs via Bluetooth. Have one and it is no better than a Bluetooth connection.

You can do it however you want but i would take the dongle
