Is the workshop important at Planet Coaster?

Since I really want to buy Planet Coaster for my XBOX one S, I have the question of whether the workshop is important for Planet Coaster and what I need it for

The workshop is only there to download things from others or to upload something yourself, otherwise it has no influence on the game itself

But are buildings still something like pre-installed as an idea even though I play toilets offline, for example, or do I have to download ideas for toilets

A few are already there, but not so many, about 10 things for each setting like sci fi, medieval or pirates
