Play Planet Coaster offline on Xbox?

I'm considering buying a Planet Coaster for the xbox and have two questions. 1. Do I have to be connected to the Internet with my XBOX to play Planet Coaster or can I also play offline?

You can play planet coaster offline but you can't access the workshop. But where is your 2nd question?

Well, you can download things from others, but you don't have to do that if you want to build yourself.
