Play Planet Coaster Xbox one offline?

I'm considering buying the Planet Coaster for the xbox and have two questions. 1. Do I have to be connected to my XBOX in the internet to play Planet Coaster or can I play offline? 2. If I need to be connected to the Internet, for what and for how long

and do I have to be signed in live with Xbox. Thanks for those who give me an answer and help me with it

Can play offline, 2. I don't understand, of course you need internet to make updates, and yes you have to be connected to live otherwise the console is offline.
