As already described in the title, the MS Flight Simulator 2020 does not start when I have connected my joystick (SpeedLink PHANTOM HAWK Flightstick). As soon as I disconnect the USB from the joystick from the PC, it works again.
With JoyStick connected, I get to a black screen with a white loading animation in the lower right for about 5-10 seconds. Then the game closes again.
I've already tried to fix the game, reset it, reinstall it from scratch (yes, the whole 130GB…). Nothing works. I can't find a solution anywhere on the Internet. Does anyone here have any ideas?
I start the game via the Microsoft Store and games via the xBox subscription for 1 euro.
Somehow that with the joysticks and other sticks is currently a problem… I think it must be due to the drivers. I switched to a PS4 controller and now I fly like that.
Do you have the game on Steam, DVD or how does it work for you?
I downloaded the game from the MS Store.
Ok, interesting. Driver up to date?
Yes, the driver was up to date. I bought this JoyStick today. But now I've deleted the driver and started the game. TADA works. I'm going crazy after 3 hours + reinstallation… Finally gamble.
Wait, that would be too nice… Now it says that he has a game controller, but he can't assign it. Which interns programmed something like that…
Take a different USB socket… Is the USB 3.0 3.1 or 2.0?
Unfortunately, I've already tried several. I don't know exactly which version I have. But since it is recognized by Windows, it can only be due to the FSX
Do you play FSX? Not the new 2020?
No, sorry. Of course the new 2020
