XBOX ONE 1st Gen 4K output possible?

I recently pimped my living room with a 4K TV from LG.

I'm currently using my first generation XBOX ONE as an entertainment system. In addition to games, I watch YouTube, Netflix, Prime and Disney +.

Since I would like to get the most out of my television, I wonder whether the XBOX can also output 4K. I do NOT have the option to select 4K in the settings under "General"> "TV and display options"> "Display"> "Resolution". According to Xbox Support, it should be possible.

I'm a little confused now. My LG scales up to 4K, but often doesn't look sharp.

I look forward to answers.

The your One only outputs a maximum of 1080p, mostly 720p.

The One S can at least display 4K for pictures or videos and also scales games up to 4k.

For real 4k you need a One X or the Series X.
