How to install your Xbox One game from the Microsoft Store on your PC?

I would like to buy State of Decay 2, to be honest, I have it "actually", only on the Game Pass. But now that I've got a new PC with Microsoft Store and Windows 10, I wanted to ask if you can install State of Decay 2 or other games on my PC if it is permanently purchased.

Every answer is helpful! ^^

Man has to buy it again for the PC.

Gr

Thank you for your prompt reply.

So just buy from Microsoft store as I understand it? ^^

Bi

Yes

Ir

That should normally work, SOD2 has Play anywhere.

Gr

Theoretically yes, he shows me 2 options:

1.Install / Play, but he sends me to another shop similar to Play Store.

2. Install on my devices, when I click on it, it just shows me my Xbox One and not my PC.

"Purchasing a digital Xbox Play Anywhere title from the Xbox Store or the Windows Store allows you to play the game on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs at no additional charge." For Xbox Play Anywhere, the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update must be on your PC and the latest update installed on your Xbox One console, simply sign in to your Xbox Live / Microsoft account, your Xbox Play Anywhere titles will be available for download and the games will be available on Xbox One under My Games and Apps "in the section" Ready to install. "You can find them in the library on your Windows 10 PC."

And if it still did not work out:

Gr

That could explain a lot because I think I have the Windows 10 Anniversary Update not yet or have installed and maybe even my Xbox One has not yet been updated.

I will then report again if it worked
