I wanted to ask if bedrock version and windows 10 are the same. I want to buy the Bedrock version on my PC because all my friends play this version. Can I then also play from the PC with ps4 and xbox players? I also have a question about the servers. My best friend used to have minecraft pocket edition (I think that's Bedrock) and before she could play on the servers she had to connect to an xbox or whatever. Will it be the same for me or will I be able to play on servers without having to connect to anything? I'm not sure if it will be like that for me because she installed minecraft for free.
Yes, the version from the Microsoft Store is the Bedrock Edition and yes, you need an Xbox Live account.
Is it possible to just create one account and then play on servers? Or do you need an Xbox for this (I don't have one so I don't know my way around)
You can create an account without having an XBox… At least it was possible two years ago when I did that…
