Is it possible to use and update the Xbox One Edition without any problems, without the Bedrock intervening?

I plan to buy the Minecraft Xbox One Edition. - So the original consoles Minecraft, not the Bedrock (MCPE variant), because I already have. The reason why I want to buy the obsolete, and no longer suported Minecraft for the One is that I want to transfer the Minecraft worlds that I built on the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One edition, and then then transfer to Bedrock. (I checked out, according to videos that are young in 2018, this procedure should work eigendlich) But I wanted to ask the people here who have both Minecraft versions here (So Bedrock Edition, that simply "Minecraft" means, and the Xbox One Edition " on an Xbox One console)

And if the One Edition can still be updated to its latest version (I know the one edition is no longer supported!) I just stand on HIS latest) without coming into conflict with the Bedrock? - In the net I have often read that users of the One Edition should pay money for updates, or the use of One Edition is completely blocked.
