Xbox f2p games without gold?

Moin, Microsoft / Xbox (what ever) recently published an alpha where you can play f2p games without gold. Does anyone know how to do that and, as I said above, play f2p games without gold?

To do this, you need to be in the Xbox Insider Program. Simply install the app and register.

Otherwise you still need Xbox live Gold to play online.
