Hello there's the possibility to play with the Xbox Gamepass Pc with a PS4 controller
Playstation controllers are generally not compatible with Windows computers. There's certain software that can bypass this built-in lock from Sony, but in my opinion it's not worth it. An Xbox controller is a lot better than a Playstation controller.
Can you give a source for this Sony built-in lock?
I've never heard of that before and I would like to read about it.
What should you please prove?
It is a fact that the Playstation controllers are compatible in almost all games except the Steam games. Why is Steam compatible… Oh yes! There's a contract between Steam and Sony.
That's not true Steam and Epic Games support the PS4 controller because it is not compatible
These are exceptions!
Ubisoft, Xbox, Blizzard, EA and co are just a few of the many who do not recognize the controller!
Since when will Epic Games please be supported?
You're talking about a "lock". Should there be such a thing, there would also be corresponding information. But there's not, ergo this claim is wrong.
And there's also no contract between Sony and Valve / Steam, which concerns the controller support.

At first, none of this is a fact. I guess you wanted to say that Playstation controllers only work with Steam. Unfortunately, that is not true either.
The difference lies in the use of the API XInput and DirectInput. Xinput is most often used in PC games today, the Playstation controllers support DirectInput. Steam, so to speak, emulates the whole thing. But you don't need steam for this, there's another way. (Apart from the fact that this is only the case with wireless use and use via cable is not a problem.)
So the fact is: There's no such "contract" between Sony and Valve / Steam, which regulates controller support, as well as the alleged "ban".
If you still want to stick to these claims, supporting evidence would be desirable.
The PS controller uses DirectInput (API), but XInput is required for smooth support.
However, this can be simulated in an uncomplicated way, for example with the program http://ds4windows.com/.
Support via cable should possibly also be possible without additional programs, as is the case with many normal PC games.
Sources wouldn't be bad either.
