Why are clips on the xbox sometimes only 10sec. Long even though you have set 5 minutes?

These may be automatically captured clips. Some games, such as GTA V in story mode, let go of special events (e.g. You shoot a helicopter from the sky), the Xbox records exactly this event. These usually only last 10 seconds. This can be switched off in the recording settings.
