Nba 2k20 on pc with Xbox controller?

Hello wanted to ask if I can connect an xbox controller (pdp) to the pc and could play nba 2k20 on the pc and if so how.

Yes you can if the controller fork is tied you plug it into a USB slot of your pc and then maybe set up the controller

Do I have to install any programs then?

Actually not the controller has its own driver and it is automatically installed the first time you connect to the pc as far as I know
