Just bring you nothing, maybe 10,000 people in the world have an 8K television, nobody will be able to test that, all just marketing.
If you buy a console at release ne you are totally blinded - hardly any games - after usually little time either a refresh comes at the same price, or a price drop or both.
Pc is the clearly better platform (purely objective), xbox exclusives are no longer available in relation to the PC and as wise it will soon be with Sony. (for people with a good internet connection it is almost now) - is already emerging and is the logical conclusion.
Technically, the consoles will not differ much and will call up similar performances. So you should rather differentiate according to what the majority of your friends use or which exclusive titles the respective console has to offer.
The new consoles will be backward compatible - there will be more games than ever before on the release, and they will run better than ever.
Boy… There's practically no official information regarding specs, features and price. How can you recommend anything there, just wait and see!

I stay with Xbox because of the games that I have played on 360 and One but have not yet played through and because of Xcloud - PlayStation could not convince me with its offer.
The technology is probably on it, but not selectable. Was the same with the Xbox One S with the scaled 4K. It came out without 4K, and was given the necessary software for it. Will run the same way with the Series X.
Of course, better inform yourself…
