Do you need an apprenticeship or do you have to study? I find almost nothing on the internet about this job, although that is a pretty important profession and supporters are also in many different areas. Is it possible to be a supporter for eg. Xbox or for a game? I really do not know much about this profession, I do not even know if you can do it full-time, would be nice if somebody told me something about it.
Many supporters even do this on a voluntary basis. You have to be so good that portal operators become attentive to you. Making money will not be enough.
If you only want to be a supporter for one game, you are in the best case unemployed after a few years. Same for game consoles a series. The technology is changing more and more fixed.
And if you're doing phone support, you're recording new messages or having a questionnaire that identifies the problem
Supporters at Rockstar Games and Co earn almost nothing, but it's not a hard job either. If it's fun to explain the same things 8 hours a day people do not understand.
