I'm thinking of buying an Xbox Series X or S and then subscribing to Xbox Game Pass in order to play many games that are currently in Game Pass. Since the games will eventually be removed from the catalog and thus no longer playable, I wanted to ask how long the games stay in the catalog. Does it cover z. B. Playing a Witcher 3 through? Or is the game pass intended as "borrowing and testing"? And is there anything else I have to consider? (It's my first Xbox since the 360) Feel free to write me your thoughts.
As far as I know, most Gamepass titles stay in there for a very long time. Big well-known titles are only rarely taken out again.

Of course it depends on how much you play, but for example Gears of War or Halo are included right from the start. So most of them stay there for several months and as soon as a new one comes out, you should actually have enough time to play it through.
The Game Pass games are rarely out of the game pass. But honestly I would recommend the Game Pass Ultimate to you as it was linked to EA a few days ago i.e. You can access all EA games (Fifa, Madden NFL, NBA etc.) and the games of the Game pass ultimate. If you get Game Pass Ultimate and use Discord a lot, Xbox gives you 3 months of free Discord nitro. Regarding the Series X, I have myself at home and the device is just perfect.
