I (Xbox player) would like to play Minecraft with my buddy (PS4 player) but there can never be a connection to the world
To my knowledge it is not possible… Do you both have the same MC version?
Yes, I mean but thanks for the answer
Have you already done the following? If you want to play Minecraft on the PS4 with the PC (Windows Edition) or Xbox One, then it's easy thanks to the new Bedrock update. When you start Minecraft, a button appears at the bottom left of the screen that you can use to log in with your Microsoft account. If you don't already have a Microsoft account, you can create one for free at any time. Then just follow the displayed steps and register on the "aka.ms/remoteconnect" website.
If you have logged in with a Microsoft account, you will find the new item "Find friends from other platforms" under "Play" under the "Friends" tab. Here you can then search for the gamertag of friends who have also connected their Microsoft account to Minecraft. You can then create a world and friends can join in or join friends' meetings, which also works across platforms.
