But here I have to disagree. I have owned a 360 since 2017. Whether you previously owned one and didn't use it before, I can definitely confirm that the Xbox credit system and the Microsoft gift voucher cards (both are actually the same, I understand the point from Microsoft behind it) also work on the 360. I bought cards very often in 2017 before I opened a bank account and thus a PayPal account when I was 18. In addition, if you turn on the 360 (with Internet), you can see on the 360 main menu how briefly "Xbox credit" is shown. The amount changes even if you redeem money with your Xbox account. You can also use it to buy Xbox 360 / Xbox Original games ON the 360. (I wrote everything in my answer here)
