I would like to connect my old Xbox 360 Turtle Beach Headset to my PS4. The headset has a total of 4 cables that you have to accommodate.
The first is an aux cable that comes into the controller.
The second is a USB cable that comes into the PlayStation
And now comes the problem
The 3rd and 4th cable is a white and red Chich connector. You would normally put these in your TV. The problem is that I play on a monitor (connected to PS4 with HDMI) and it doesn't have a port for these two plugs.
My question now is how can I connect these two plugs to play the headset?
Pictures are included
Many thanks
Is the AV audio cable the only port on the headset shown? I thought there were only these 1.5 mm jack plugs for the 360 controllers…
You would need an adapter cable, something like an "AV red white to 3.5 jack 4 pin"
It is important that the AV audio is female, so that your headset fits on the adapter, and that there's a 4-pin jack plug on the other end of the adapter cable. A 4-pin jack plug can be recognized if it has 3 strips, 3-pin jack plug has 2 strips. The 4-pin connector is important, because without it you can only hear your friends, but they can't hear you.
But I can't promise whether it works 100%, after all you have to rumdocktorn with a headset connection that is intended for the 360 to get it to work on the PS4. Look on Amazon or Ebay to see if the above adapters are available, I used to have something similar, but in use for something else, it didn't work. đŸ˜‘
After all, your headset does not have a 1.5 jack connection, that would have been much more difficult đŸ˜…
