Minecraft, re-installation after beta?

I bought the Windows 10 version of Minecraft and looked a little bit into the beta.

Now I wanted to leave beta, which is probably not possible without reinstalling it.

So I uninstalled it without further ado and didn't expect to get stones in the way. (I'm probably too used to Steam…)

How can I reinstall the Windows 10 version of Minecraft?

The tile in the start menu has disappeared, these strange XBox applications only offer me a new purchase and I can't get through the Mojang website… Is it really that complicated or am I blind?

sp

By going to the Windows Store and selecting the game there and then reinstalling it.

Jo

I already got the idea. As I said, I will only be offered the opportunity to buy it again.

sp

Are you signed in with the Microsoft account you used to buy the game? What did you buy the game for? Either way, you should have an email (proof) for your purchase.

Jo

Yes, I'm logged in. I activated it using a code that I bought from a key seller.

sp

And where did you enter it?

ni

That also got me wrong… But then it went anyway… Or did you just have a beta key? So I just played it. Everything works

Jo

In the Microsoft store, as instructed by the dealer.

Jo

I had a key for "Minecraft Windows 10 version". For the beta, I first had to "register" using the XBox Insider app.

ni

You can redeem your key at the top of the three points in the store… Then it should fit

Jo

Already tried. Logically, the key has already been redeemed. I also see that I'm told that I have already played it. You can see everything in the XBox Apps.

sp

If the code was accepted, Minecraft should appear in your library. Minecraft should be listed in the store under "My Library" and then "All I Own". If this is not the case, I would contact the reseller again.

ni

🤔 I should have a look now… How it looks with me… But I'm not at home right now… I thought I would then "install" and not buy… I might have given away the key for the beta

Jo

Excellent!

Jo

Has done itself, thanks anyway!
