Whenever I download games on my Xbox it says 80mb / s on average. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with internet lines. What is the average MB performance?
The conversion from bit to byte is 8: 1. So it corresponds to a download speed of 10MB / s. Assume that you use a 100Mbit contract connection.
That's good, I have 10 mbits downloads even though we have a 200mbits line
The question is whether it should mean megabits or megabytes.
Actually, mb is megabytes. 80mb would be 640mbps, so that would be ne gabit line. It's very fast.
80 mbps (i.e. Megabits) is not slow either.

The 80mb / s you specified would be 640mbit / s which would be a very good value (in German comparison) but a bad one for a 1GBit / s line
I think it's not about bits, but about 80MB (i.e. Megabytes)
80 Mbit / s is not bad. The average in Germany is 25 Mbit / s.
That always confuses me because it is 100% not about bits but about 80 mb
