Best gaming headset for Call of Duty?

I have already inquired on the Internet and often come across the Astro A50 (4th Gen) for about 300 euro. My main concern is to hear opposing steps better. My previous 40 euro headset doesn't give me much. Do you also have experience with this model? Or (more importantly) do you think there are even better headsets than this? In general, is a "wireless" headset worse for shooters than a wired one? (I myself play on Xbox One X.)

Astro A50 is electronic waste, you'd better buy studio headphones with a real microphone because you get twice the performance for the same price

Are they also well suited for gaming? And could you recommend something there? (I don't know me very well)

Ch

Studio headphones are not only suitable for gaming, they are even better than gaming headsets because they often only focus on a lot of bass and muddy in the middle, whereas studio headphones reproduce all the details in the original.

Just noticed that you're playing on Xbox. On Xbox it is unfortunately really difficult to connect an external microphone because there's more freedom at Playstation so it will be difficult to find something that meets your requirements.

I actually believe that you should go for an A50 because you simply don't have the options to get something better for the price.

I would still advise you to use a ModMic studio headphone if you don't mind a few cables. In this case the Beyerdynamic Dt770 Pro (32 Ohm) with the ModMic UNI. You not only have a better sound but also a better microphone than the Astro A50 and it also costs less, but in return, unfortunately, do without wirelesd.

Here are the links to the two products

Thank you so much! Do you need a sound card to get the maximum performance out of the Beyerdynamic headphones?

No at 32 Ohl not really that is why I also suggested the 32 ohm variant and not a higher ohmic variant (most headsets have an impedance of 30-60 ohms HyperX Cloud 2 as example has 60 ohms whereas the Asteo A50 only has 48 ohms)

If you really want to hit the jackpot then you can of course buy a higher impedance version of the Dt770 Pro. I own the 250 ohm variant because it is a bit more high resolution. With a high-impedance version you won't get there without a sound card, you have to have one, but then you have to have an optical input because, as is well known, it doesn't work via USB. Could you recommend the Soundblaster G6, which has both an optical input and the amount of power you would need to operate the 250 Ohm variant, which supports up to 600 Ohm. It is also capable of surround sound, supports X-Amp, and has a scout mode that is very cool for shooters. Unfortunately, I'm just not sure how to use the microphone because I would have to do more research.

HyperX Cloud 2.

I had a very good experience with in-ears "Bose SoundSport"
Hear everything out loud and steps clear, there are on Amazon, if necessary test times.

If you set the Astro A50 correctly and have found your favorite setting, it is a dream. Got it myself and it's anything but electronic junk.
