I recently wanted to buy call of duty black Ops 2 on my Xbox one, so I loaded up credits, then I opened the Microsoft store and picked out the game, but when I wanted to pay it was my credit on that platform not accepted. Can anyone help me there?

Since this is a 360 game you can't pay with your balance. For this you need either a stored credit card or a Paypal account.
Only with the One Generation was the payment by credit possible. Why Microsoft has never changed this with the older titles remains their secret.
