Personally, I always switch between Xbox and Playstadion, now the PS would be my turn.
But if the difference is really that big then I'll consider getting an Xbox again.

The difference between the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X was much larger in comparison and there were virtually no differences at all. To assume that the differences will be "even" clearer (or even enormous) this time is just absurd. Quite apart from that, the PS5 is only weaker in two areas (texture fill rate and teraflops,). In ALL others it is stronger according to the official published specs. π
The hardware would still have to be fully exhausted, which we're still a long way from. Since third party manufacturers do not tailor their products to the respective consoles, you will only notice differences in first party games anyway. And Microsoft is rather modest in this regard. π (The presentation of Halo Infinite also went quite bad when I think about the popups etc. π).
