Moin, I have a cable which is lightning to aux and I connected it to my cell phone and the microphone socket of the PC. It is also recognized and everything, but it obviously does not have access to the microphone of my cell phone because I have no sound input (even if it is recognized). Is there any way to somehow take my phone as a mic?
I know from Wo Mic, but the client download does not work and my PC runs over Ethernet and not Wi-Fi. My sound output is my XBox controller with headphones, but unfortunately the microphone is just broken.
The Aux-Lightning adapter only delivers sound for a line-in input or headphones.
If you want to record audio via a mic input, you need a microphone. Technically, the iPhone can't do that.
