GPU at 100 percent?

Hi

This has been my problem for 3 days, why it always happens that my GPU is continuously at 100 percent when playing games (before 30-50) and the problem now is that when I play Star Wars, for example, I have a GPU at 100 percent in the lobby and when i join a game i'm out after 2 minutes and the game is closed.

and one more info now i only have discord and spotify open and as soon as i open the xbox game bar it is permanently at 35 percent. And i have had the pc for a year.

So that your GPU runs under full load in a 3D application is the desired behavior (which components should otherwise limit in a graphically intensive application if not the graphics unit…). The situation is different, usually only with very old games, very CPU-heavy games (strategy like Total War or huge settlements in Anno) or if you use a frame limiter or vSync for an update below what your GPU could actually do.

I don't quite understand why you set a screenshot from your task manager. Your other problem not quite either… Are you saying that your games are smeared? Because that would actually be worth asking.

The graphics card should be used to 100% during games, unless you have an FPS limiter in it. Otherwise your CPU is too weak and the performance of the graphics card is not being fully utilized.

What components do you have, are the drivers up to date, does the game or system issue an error message when it crashes and what about the temperatures?

In principle, a graphics card should also run at 100% when playing games, only then do you have the full performance of the graphics card. If it does not run at 100%, it is either slowed down by another component or an fps limitation is activated, then the utilization is usually not at 100% either.

It would be more interesting to know what hardware you are dealing with and how high your graphics card or CPU temperature is if your game suddenly ends.

Yes they crash when i play a game and have frame drops too.

Amd ryzen 2600 16gb ram 3600mhz

the games are simply closed without an error message

How long has this been the case? So it worked at one point and then stopped, and what has changed in terms of software or hardware since then?

How do the temperatures of the GPU and CPU behave? Are you overclocking Have you already tried to set up your system again or at least to uninstall the graphics driver cleanly (with DDU) and reload?

De

So I haven't overclocked the temperatures to normal and the problem has existed for 2 days
