Lego Star Wars 2 on PC with Xbox 360 controller possible?

I wanted to buy Lego Star Wars 2 again after all these years. I would like to play it on PC and not buy myself a game console.

The game does not exist on Steam. There's the game but for PC to buy as a CD.

When I buy and start the game, can I connect an xbox 360 controller and use it to play or does the game only work with the mouse and keyboard?

You can also use the controller without any problems.
