(Minecraft) Why can't I find slimes?

I play with my friends on the Xbox with the Minecraft Win 10 edition, it's our 2 world we play.

And we just do not find any slimes, I'm looking for slime chunks (at the right height) that I found out with the help of the seed to Slimes, search in marsh area for Slimes…

I just can't find…

As you mentioned earlier, they only spawn in swamp areas and even there it is very rare.

If monsters are active and do not want to cheat, there's almost no way to get it. Even if you find one you often do not get more than 3 slimes.

There are (version 1.4.7.-1.12 sure) a couple of villagers doing this, but I do not know what that looks like in 12:14

1) Do you play peacefully?

2) is this a big swamp or a small one?

3) Villagers sometimes trade with it or migrant traders

4) If you know that this is a slime chunk you should at least think I was 75 blocks away for spawning

5) How do you know that this is a slimejunk if you have not seen one there yet?

In the swamp areas spawn almost only at full moon - Eighth on the moon when you go there.

People all caves. If normal monsters can spawn, then the game will spawn them too. But if you illuminate all the caves no monsters can spawn there anymore. The only monsters that can spawn then are slimes. And then they all spawn in your Slime Chunks, when you've cleared enough space there. (But only under 40)
