My problem is that I still had my Microsoft account with which I'm logged into my pc connected to my old Xbox 360. But since I no longer used it and my brother bought an Xbox One. I thought it would be a good idea to let him use my old Xbox account (it wasn't), because since then I've been getting a notification for everything he does.
What I now need help is how I can separate my Microsoft account from the Xbox, or how I can link another Microsoft account to it. Anyone know how this works without losing any data because I'm not sure but I think my brother's Epic Games account is linked to said account too.
An Xbox account is a Microsoft account that can't be separated. I would leave it that way, or should your brother get a new account. Credit and purchased games are then of course gone, you should have thought about that beforehand. I would just leave it that way for now.
Unfortunately, you can't transfer your Microsoft or Xbox account as described above.
