I play on the Xbox Series with a 4k monitor 60 heart 2.1 Hdmi. So far so good.
Now I want to use nvidia geforce for my pc graphics card 3080. And buy Xbox a monitor for online gaming.
Is 1080p enough or should it be 1440p?
The reaction time and heart are both equal to 1 ms
Up to 25 inches, mMn 1080p is enough
Larger than 25 inches would have to be 1440p
A 4K monitor has a resolution of 3840 x 2160. Of course, you can only make the most of this if your Xbox or graphics card supports it originally. The Xbox Series X supports 4K, i.e. 3840 x 2160, while the Xbox Series S only supports 1440p, but can upscale to 4K for some games, which of course leads to quality losses.
The Geforce RTX 3080 supports 4 k and 1440p resolution.
Your current monitor is actually sufficient in number in both cases. Because the number of images that a person can perceive per second is limited. I don't really think that higher-frequency monitors actually deliver better results in your case.
